Boris Garbe— Founder

Boris Garbe is the founder and lead gallerist of Mills Gallery, known for his commitment to showcasing bold, contemporary work from emerging and established artists. With a background in both art and business, Boris brings a keen curatorial eye and a passion for community-building to every exhibition. He is dedicated to making the gallery a dynamic space for creativity, dialogue, and cultural exchange.

Juan Pablo Santa Luna— Executive Director

Juan Pablo Santa Luna, the executive director and curator of Mills Gallery, is passionate about transforming the gallery into a vibrant cultural hub. With a strong background in visual arts leadership and community engagement in Orlando, he envisions the space as more than just a gallery—it’s a place for learning and conversation across disciplines and cultures.

Ambar Santiago— Operations Administrator

Ambar Santiago, the Operations Administrator of Mills Gallery, is a Fine Arts graduate of the University of Central Florida. With the vision of an artist, competence as an administrator, and the desire of learning the business of art, she helps ensure exhibitions run smoothly while supporting the gallery’s mission to be a space where art and community thrive.

Hala Kusiak— Artist in Residence

Hala Kusiak, Artist in Residence at Mills Gallery, is an Iraqi-born, Orlando-based abstract painter whose vibrant, symbolic works explore freedom, female empowerment, and emotional honesty. Her exhibitions and talks bring bold, thought-provoking energy to the gallery’s creative community.

Juan David Tena— Director of Photography

Juan David Tena is a Colombian-Spanish photographer whose powerful work highlights cultural identity and social justice. At Mills Gallery Orlando, he brings global perspective and community-focused storytelling through exhibitions like “We Know Who We Are.” He enjoys being part of the team, inspired by its diverse creativity and commitment to meaningful art.

Mora Garcia-Barneche — Gallery Consultant

Mora Garcia-Barneche is the Intern and Sales Consultant at Mills Gallery, where she helps connect visitors with artwork while gaining hands-on experience in gallery operations and the art market. Passionate about art, Mora hopes to pursue a degree in art history, combining academic study with her real-world gallery experience. Her goal is to build a career in the arts and contribute to making art more accessible and engaging for diverse audiences.
