OPPOSITES ATTRACT, A Duo Exhibition

March 12th, 2026

This Duo Exhibition in Lump Gallery, featuring the works of Genna Sweetnam and Liamel Cohen, brings together opposing practices that collide in a shared emotional terrain.

Curated by Ambar Santiago.

LUMP GALLERY - 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Whereas Genna Sweetnam paints about the complex emotions that drift just beneath our skins, Liamel Cohen works with the gritty and the real, painting viscerally about lived experiences.

This exhibition unfolds as a journey of experiencing two sides of the same coin: the immaterial meeting the material, and release meeting resistance.

Standing between these works, we are asked not just to look, but to recognize ourselves. Our fragility, our strength, and the invisible weight we move through the world with every day. Together, a dialogue between what floats within us and what we are forced to carry.

The Opening Reception is on Thursday, March 12th, at 6:30 pm.

THINGS WE THINK WE KNOW, THE ART OF DOUG BLOODWORTH

March 19th, 2026

Through Things We Think We Know, Doug Bloodworth’s photorealist style is a HUGE “double-take” experience.

Curated by Juan Pablo Santa Luna.

MILLS GALLERY - 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

At first glance, Bloodworth’s paintings read like high-resolution photos. But step closer. Every reflection, every crease, every glint of light is meticulously painted by hand. Packed with pop-culture relics and snack-aisle Americana, these paintings spark recognition through personal and collective memories.

Things We Think We Know invites us to reconsider perception itself. What do we assume is real? And why do certain objects carry such emotional weight?

Please join us for the opening reception of this solo exhibition and to experience firsthand the power and nostalgia that define this fantastic exhibition!

The Opening Reception is on Thursday, March 19th at 6:30 pm.

Exotic Landscapes Of Morocco - Terry Olson Photography

April 2nd, 2026

For photographer and Orlando Arts Instigator Terry Olson, Exotic Landscapes of Morocco is not a travelogue. It is expectation versus lived reality.

LUMP GALLERY - 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Like many Americans, Terry Olson’s early image of Morocco was shaped by cinema and myth, most notably Casablanca.

What he encountered instead was a country of startling juxtapositions: ancient Roman ruins standing in the shadow of glass skyscrapers, Saharan heat giving way to the cold Atlantic wind, and small agricultural towns existing far from the polished narratives of tourism.

This exhibition marks Olson’s first photographic exhibition in Orlando in a long time, making it both a personal milestone and a cultural moment for the city’s arts community.

It introduces a new dimension of an artist long known locally as a connector and instigator, now stepping forward with a deeply personal visual narrative.

The Opening Reception is on April 2nd at 6:30 pm.
